The World Wide Amateur Radio Group is an open affiliation of Amateur Radio Operators who are interested in promoting the traditional values of Amateur Radio and participating in operating activities.
Operating activities include CW and Phone, although the club does put an emphasis on CW. We believe that CW remains an important and viable mode of communication, a major part of the history of Amateur Radio and an important tradition to uphold. Let's face it- CW is fun!
We are uninterested in typical club politics, welcoming any and all licensed Amateur Radio operators. There are no membership dues at WWARG. We are based in Puyallup, Washington and conduct a variety of operating activities throughout the year. |

Brass Pounding

"I'll never forget it... the first time I visited Floyd and he was in his shack- there was this dah-dit, dah-dit tone.
I asked "What is that?" "That's Japan" He said.
Right there, from that very moment I was hooked. The rest is history."
